PRINCIPLES of FINANCE

 Proverbs 12:24

King James Version

24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:

but the slothful shall be under tribute.

He calls himself a "geek".

But this gentleman geek explains finance pretty well.

In ways no one has ever explained to me before.

"James G. Rickards is an American lawyer, investment banker, media commentator, and author on matters of finance and precious metals."

-- Wikipedia

For a non-finance person like myself, I can appreciate the clarity Rickards delivers.

He makes the complex, plain.

As you will see from a 19-minute video we will share below.

Wherein he reveals where America is today.

And where other countries could be, too.

Affecting everyone's finances as well.

The principles he reveals are sound.

Almost common-sense.

Consider this the shortest course on finance.

Whether government finance, or personal finance.

And the shortest course that tells how America got off-course.

Especially with the current government at the helm.

And the particular monetary policy they've adopted.

Perhaps, it's time for the "trump" card.

Before it's too late.

DEATH of MONEY?

Proverbs 3:7-8

King James Version

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:

fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel,

and marrow to thy bones.

What is the state of the world right now?

Financially, at least?

Listen to this fresh  video, and you will have an idea.

Jim Rickard's book, "The Death of Money", was written nearly 10 years ago.

And yet, it is more relevant than ever.

Especially when I read these excerpts from its Amazon link:

"While Washington is gridlocked and unable to make progress on our long-term problems, our biggest economic competitors—China, Russia, and the oilproducing nations of the Middle East—are doing everything possible to end U.S. monetary hegemony. The potential results: Financial warfare. Deflation. Hyperinflation. Market collapse. Chaos."

"The author shows how everyday citizens who save and invest have become guinea pigs in the central bankers’ laboratory."

"The world’s major financial players—national governments, big banks, multilateral institutions—will always muddle through by patching together new rules of the game."

I've always known that.

That everyday citizens are but guinea pigs to the elite.

I need not point out to you all the programs and schemes we've all been put through.

All the while, most of us are kept in the dark.

As an ordinary citizen, I've also wondered about one thing.

And it's not an affront to any financial brain.

With all the matching degrees, and expertise, why is the world still mostly poor?

Why do we keep going through the same cycle of boom, and bust?

Why does it only uphold a few rich?

Why can't governments seem to get their act together?

Why is there favoritism?

Who keeps the game going?

What would end poverty?

Who really has a solution to all the problems?

As born again, things have been made clear for me.

The SPIRIT of GOD makes things plain.

Through Scripture, the WORD of GOD.

The Bible reveals the true nature of the world.

It has its own god.

Ephesians 6:12

King James Version

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

JESUS told us about this deceiver:

John 8:44-45

King James Version

44 Ye are of your father the devil,

and the lusts of your father ye will do.

He was a murderer from the beginning,

and abode not in the truth,

because there is no truth in him.

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth,

ye believe me not.

Why is there no perfect monetary system?

Why is there no perfect government?

Why is there no perfect solution?

The answer is simple.

Man is not perfect.

His heart is not perfect with GOD.

These verses explain it all:

Genesis 6:5-6

King James Version

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man

was great in the earth, and that every imagination

of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord

that he had made man on the earth,

and it grieved him at his heart.

Romans 3:9-10

King James Version

9 What then? are we better than they?

No, in no wise: for we have before proved

both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

10 As it is written,

There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:11

King James Version

11 There is none that understandeth,

there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans 3:12

King James Version

12 They are all gone out of the way,

they are together become unprofitable;

there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 3:23

King James Version

23 For all have sinned,

and come short of the glory of God;

Man does not deliver just weight.

Proverbs 11:1

King James Version

11 A false balance is abomination to the Lord:

but a just weight is his delight.

Man ignores the poor.

Deuteronomy 15:11

King James Version

11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land:

therefore I command thee, saying,

Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother,

to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

Until we learn to love, as JESUS taught us to love, we'll always be in the same boat.

A stinking, sinking boat.

TRUE financial WISDOM

1 Timothy 6:10

King James Version

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil:

which while some coveted after,

they have erred from the faith,

and pierced themselves through

with many sorrows.

How can we be wise, financially?

Where do we put our trust in?

Who can tell us all we need to know?

How can we live, and prosper fairly?

First, let's look at the root cause of all our troubles.

This love for money.

This insatiable desire to acquire, possess, and dominate.

This gnawing desire to be the wealthiest.

The most famous, the most powerful.

All at the expense of those who know nothing about finance.

Surely, we know that when you get to the top, others get stepped on.

Today, we viewed a video, on yet another failed financial scheme.

And yet, time and again, people never learn.

The moment you invest in something you know nothing about, it's always 50-50.

The moment you trust in someone you know nothing about, it's always 50-50.

The moment you follow unbelievers, it's 100% disaster.

Isn't the latter a bit tough?

Not so, for a TRUE believer in JESUS will never cause you harm.

He will always lead you to Scripture, where the LORD's truth is.

He has no interest in running away with your money.

In all probability, he has no money.

And has absolutely no interest in it.

The LORD provides, that's all he cares to know.

It's a shame some ministries have succumbed to the appeal of gold, glory, and greed.

But that's for another post.

Many people invest everything they have, after they've heard of big gains.

Even as the big guns have already known about it ahead of time.

The rumor spreads like wildfire.

Everyone wants to be in on it.

Everyone wants a piece of the pie.

In truth, the perpetrators want the pie to themselves.

The smaller investors hope their money would grow.

More often than not, it doesn't.

They get a taste of profit.

A pittance, compared to the big guns' gains.

But do we really know how the money grows?

Where it gets invested?

The money gets invested in equally-deceptive schemes.

Cheating the less fortunate people from their life savings.

Causing much poverty, anger, and disillusionment everywhere.

It's the oldest scheme in the world.

To get people's trust, and to run away with their money.

And then, a fall guy is appointed to take the brunt when the time comes.

How can we really trust each other, when only GOD is good?

JESUS already told us that.

Luke 18:19

King James Version

19 And Jesus said unto him,

Why callest thou me good?

none is good, save one,

that is, God.

Let's face it.

We're all sinful.

Romans 3:23

King James Version

23 For all have sinned,

and come short of the glory of God;

Genesis 6:5-6

King James Version

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man

was great in the earth,

and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart

was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord

that he had made man on the earth,

and it grieved him at his heart.

When money is the subject, people's eyes take on a different hue, and brightness.

Our better judgment falters.

Our minds think of future gains.

Whether they be realistic, altruistic, or unrealistic.

There should have been enough financial disasters to prove that man's greed is insatiable.

Once again revealing our combined foolishness.

GREED is ALWAYS at the CORE.

It's time to focus on GOD, and not on greed, pride, vanity, false weights, love for money, fame, or power.

Where we're all going, we will leave everything behind.

Doesn't matter it if seems you own the world.

1 Timothy 6:7

King James Version

7 For we brought nothing into this world,

and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

JESUS can come for His faithful anytime.

All the money in the world will be as nothing.

We all want to profit, but it's better to profit from GOD's WORD.

Isaiah 48:17-18

King James Version

17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer,

the Holy One of Israel;

I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit,

which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments!

then had thy peace been as a river,

and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Put not your trust in man.

Psalm 146:3-5

King James Version

3 Put not your trust in princes,

nor in the son of man,

in whom there is no help.

4 His breath goeth forth,

he returneth to his earth;

in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help,

whose hope is in the Lord his God:

TRUST in the LORD always.

Proverbs 3:5

King James Version

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;

and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In truth, if you are born again, being instructed by SPIRIT, you will know GOD's stand on money.

Matthew 6:24

King James Version

24 No man can serve two masters:

or either he will hate the one, and love the other;

or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

WORLD debt clock

The LORD JESUS declared:

John 16:33

King James Version

33 These things I have spoken unto you,

that in me ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer;

I have overcome the world.

What an interesting discovery!

Thanks to Michael Cowan's YT report:

THE FED & Lenders Are Going bankrupt! Shocking New Report

He showed a cool webpage, "U.S. Debt Clock".

In the process, I checked "World Debt Clocks".

You can also check debt clocks per U.S. state.

As Cowan says, it's like watching a "slow motion train wreck".

There's also a "Debt Clock Time Machine" showing the years 1980, 1990, 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2022, and "Budget Showdown 2026".

Banks and currencies may be predictably unpredictable, but born agains take heart from Scripture:

Psalm 34:17-22

King James Version

17 The righteous cry,

and the Lord heareth,

and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;

and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous:

but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

20 He keepeth all his bones:

not one of them is broken.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked:

and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:

and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

A born again looks at FISCAL policies

GOD said:

Job 41:11

King James Version

11 Who hath prevented me,

that I should repay him?

whatsoever is under the whole heaven

is mine.

Why would a born again look at fiscal policies?

It's where the HOLY SPIRIT led me yesterday.

After 42 blogs on the TRIUNE GOD, it was time to look at the plight of the world.

How she operated, who led whom, what fiscal policies were in place, how things could be better.

After all, it's money that rules this world.

Whether paper money, digital money, gold, or silver, it's all the same.

Who controls whom?

Why do we even need to control others?

And yet, money is only an instrument of exchange.

That we may help each other up.

We are not to love money.

1 Timothy 6:10

King James Version

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil:

which while some coveted after,

they have erred from the faith,

and pierced themselves through

with many sorrows.

The love of money causes these:

1 Timothy 6:4

King James Version

4 He is proud,

knowing nothing,

but doting about questions and strifes of words,

whereof cometh envy,

strife,

railings,

evil surmisings,

1 Timothy 6:9

King James Version

9 But they that will be rich

fall into temptation and a snare,

and into many foolish and hurtful lusts,

which drown men in destruction and perdition.

And yes, from greed stems financial collapse.

We could have a better world.

But we have to be aware of sin.

We have to know what destroys us.

We have to know the enemy.

We have to know what corrupts us.

What good are the instruments of gain, if it causes another pain?

We are to love GOD.

We are to believe in JESUS.

We are to listen to the HOLY SPIRIT.

We are to be content.

We are to be godly.

1 Timothy 6:6-7

King James Version

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

7 For we brought nothing into this world,

and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

That we may have eternal life with JESUS CHRIST.

Colossians 3:1-2

King James Version

3 If ye then be risen with Christ,

seek those things which are above,

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above,

not on things on the earth.

Whether you're a Christian, or not, it will be worthwhile to remember EVERYTHING belongs to GOD.

The Creator has power over everything.

It's really time to know what ails this world.

Greed must stop.
